Rainy and crappy out this afternoon. Headed over to Lexington track for the workout, thinking that with the weather the track wouldn't be too crazy.
Warmed up 2 miles, going very slow and picking it up last 3 min or so. Didn't feel great going into this workout, and even though the times came, the rest was pretty slow and I felt pretty unmotivated. Ran in the new shoes tonight, even though it was raining and I wasn't going to use them.

Workout was 1x2mile (800r), 2x1.5 (800r), 3x1mile (600r), 4x800 (400r). Times were suppose to be 5:18-20 for the first 3, then 5:10-12 for the miles, then 2:34-30 for the 800s. On the last mile interval my right hip and hamstring started to get really tight on the last lap, so when I did the 800's the opposite way on the track to see if that helped, and it seemed to. Overall I felt pretty comfortable out there. Didn't feel like I was overdoing it really.
