Running 22:30 [3] 5.0 km (4:30 / km)

Warm up for our 5k where we ran the whole course. I could already tell it was going to be a horrible course from just the warm up.

Running 8:00 [3] 1.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Since I ran varsity boys, we ran last. As a result we had to do a second short warm up because by the time it got close to our race, we had already cooled down. So this was just an extra mile warm up.

Running 20:30 [3] 5.0 km (4:06 / km)

I honestly am not sure what my actual time was so I am just estimating. There was no clock at the finish. It was certainly a slow time, but this is by far the most difficult 5k course I’ve ever ran. It was constantly up and down hills, over and over and over. It felt as though we were running entirely uphill even though it was a loop course. The downhills were so steep there was no time to cherish them, nor were they beneficial. Overall this was an extremely hard course, and I have no desire to ever run it again if I’m being completely honest.
