Warm up, drills, cooldown, and running around cheering on the boys at districts. Sad I didn’t get to run but it was still a good time. We won both boys and girls at districts, and now Tahoma’s statebound!

Warm up before time trial on Districts course.

Running 18:10 [3] 5.0 km (3:38 / km)

Relatively easy time trial effort at the Westside Districts course. Since I’m an alternate , I don’t get to run tomorrow, so instead we did a time trial with the other alternates. For no real drills, feeling sick, and being exhausted from a hard week, I’d say I’m fairly happy with the results.

Easy recovery run in preparation for Districts on Saturday. My feet are still hurting but I think they're feeling better now.

This was the last brutal workout of the xc season :0. We did a 15 minute warmup, then 12x400 with one minute rest. the kicker is that we did it by the lake, on a grassy, hilly course, and were still supposed to hit our times from last week's 16x400 workout. So although there was less volume it was significantly more difficult. We finished with a 15 minute cooldown. The top of my foot also now hurts for some reason, but I'm gonna pretend it doesn't and just run through this last week of the season.

Easy 6.5 mile recovery run followed by 4x200 strides. Pretty chill but my feet are still hurting.

Running 1:01:00 [3] 9.15 mi (6:40 / mi)

We did a 9 mile loop. At mile 6 we hit a two mile uphill tempo, then finished with a cooldown mile back to the school. This was a pretty good workout but now I cannot walk so there are pros and cons here.

Necomer training for Cascade OC. I took the advanced group out for a foray into the Summit Trails Wilderness, and helped out with compass courses and other fun stuff. My legs and feet needed a break after yesterday though...
