Orienteering 39:00 [3] 4.0 km (9:45 / km)

Not my cleanest race, but enough for another US Champs win. I had lots of issues inside the control circles due to the high density of features, but no major mistakes. Lots of small time loss here and there eventually added up. But overall I’m still happy.

Orienteering 16:01 [3] 2.7 km (5:56 / km)

Sprint race at Pierce College (US Champs). Although I didn’t have my cleanest race, it was enough to come away with a US Nationals victory for the sprint distance. Specifically, checkpoint 4-5 I had a stupid mistake that cost me around 30+ seconds simply because I didn’t see the alternate exit from the building. However, ultimately I am still happy with my race and am excited for the middle.

Sprint training at Tahoma High School. This is my first Orienteering practice since JWOC, and I’m excited to start the season up!

Easy run. I was planning on going 6 but couldn’t breathe at all and still felt super sick so I called it early.
