Warmed up to the start of Day 2 of the Navigator Cup. It was biting.

The second day of the Navigator Cup. I ran a bit better than yesterday, which was evident by the many faceplants I managed (five or so) upon encounters with either low greenbriar, or ruined fences. I recorded the worst ones that I still remembered as of the date of this posting (08 March) in RouteGadget; the rest did not seem to have cost me much, or else I just carried the momentum forward, rolled over, and kept running.

I won since Mata did not show up, and was happy with the performance until I saw everyone else's results. Thereupon it became clear that my run was, at best, mediocre. It will take time to regain the speed I lost over the encounter with neuronitis and the resulting lack of interval training.

Length is from RG; climb is from the map. I think this part of the map is a lot more accurate than the eastern portion, the Polar mostly agreed with it but it also smoothed out some dips and crests, measuring a total of 475 m.
