Race 52:35 [5] 6.2 mi (8:29 / mi)

The Relay, Leg 34: Ben Lomond to Felton. Around noon, temperatures in the high 80's, all pavement, crazy traffic. Tired but that wasn't so much of a problem as getting dehydrated because one of the team members forgot a glucose tester and the whole support van had to go get it. The winning team passed me at the very end of the leg.
Some really impressive hasher people on our team; looking at two emptied pitchers of margaritas about an hour before our van's first runner was off, I didn't think they would be doing 6:30 to 7 min/miles in 90-degree weather. One hasher found the winning route choice through the Presidio (hey, we _were_ registered as non-competitive).
150 m climb over the last 2 miles. Splits: 6'46 7'32 7'41 7'41 9'06 9'38 4'11 (yes, that last one, 0.2 miles).
