Orienteering 41:10 [4] 5.4 km (7:37 / km)

SDO B-meet at Palm Desert, Blue. Basically a rehash of last night's O, as the club got literally kicked out of Day 1 (and would-be Day 2) area by the BLM ranger (we all just love Gale "Excavator" N.) for threatening the bighorns.

Saturday Dec 1, 2001 #

Warmup 7:00 [2] 1.6 km (4:22 / km)

Orienteering 2:07:07 [4] 8.0 km (15:53 / km)

SDO B-meet at Palm Desert, Blue. By control 1: "Man, I really suck." By control 4: "Man, this map really sucks." By control 7, opinion reverts back to the former, and that's the final answer. Haven't had a run like this since the Canadian Team Trials Short in 1997.

Good old Purdue Running Club. All those 16:30 high school runners steadily add pounds and slowly deteriorate. Never changes.
