Saturday Apr 2

Easy running warm up/down 15:08 [2]3 km (5:03 / km) +15m 4:55 / km
shoes: Integrators
Warmed up by running in the rain to Pig Day 2 start... the last km or so, with Chuck Ferguson.
Orienteering race 50:21 [3]**** 6.9 km (7:18 / km) +260m 6:08 / km
spiked:12/16c shoes: Integrators
The Short Course Champs. I was overly inventive on some of the routes, having been scared easily by the very first gulch I got stuck in. No major navigation issues. Did not go too fast. Felt fine.

Blue - Splits

Friday Apr 1

Rogaining (Course setting) 1:20:02 [1]** 5.1 km (15:42 / km) +135m 13:52 / km
shoes: Integrators
Set the Friday Pig course: mostly light jogging. Was done just after 1 pm (first official start at 1400).

Thursday Mar 31

Easy running 1:56:06 [2]21.37 km (5:26 / km) +75m 5:20 / km
shoes: Trail Mizuno
Baylands, alone. Sunny, warm. Few people. Felt fine, strong, not tired at all, but also felt that any faster pace would have hurt big time.

Tuesday Mar 29

Easy running warm up/down 10:32 [2]2.01 km (5:14 / km) +0m 5:14 / km
shoes: Road Mizuno
Warmed up at De Anza with Mikkel the mindsweeper. Later, Kent and then Tapio showed up.
Short intervals intervals (Repeats) 31:39 [5]5.63 km (5:37 / km) +0m 5:37 / km
shoes: Road Mizuno
7×400 (actual 400) with lap rest. Sometimes Mikkel was ahead, sometimes I was. 78 77 79 76 76 77 80. Tapio started late and kept doing low 80s. Mikkel did 10×, Tapio, 7×, and Kent, I believe 5×.
Medium pace running tempo 3:56 [3]1 km (3:56 / km) +0m 3:56 / km
shoes: Road Mizuno
A finishing Luchik T. Mikkel and Tapio kept doing 400s.

I felt great during the whole workout, but was shaky in my knees afterwards. However, I think I'm over the bug I had, whether real or not.

Monday Mar 28

Note
Another 2 hours' worth of entering Eric Weyman's suggestions and putting on finishing touches, the map and courses were ready for printing by OCIN.

Sunday Mar 27

Note
Spent the whole day entering Friendlander map corrections for The Pig. Probably 9 hours' worth of drafting, frame/border/legend work, and course generation.
