Easy running warm up/down 22:46 [2]3.97 km (5:44 / km) +66m 5:18 / km

Ran to Kezar. Got lucky with the traffic lights.
Long intervals intervals (VO2max) 27:30 [4]5.39 km (5:06 / km) +0m 5:06 / km
ahr:153 max:181 shoes: New Nikes
But there was a field hockey game at Kezar: they were collecting moneys to get past the front gate, so even the upper, asphalt track was not available (nobody running on it, we checked). So Mikkel threw his bicycle into Mark's Audi, and we drove to the polo fields.

Mikkel's initial guess at the length of the asphalt track that encircled the field was 800 m. My comment was "three and a half minutes into it, you'll know". Indeed. We did 4×, with 1/4 lap rest: 3:51 3:47 3:51 3:53 for me, about 46 s per lap less for Mikkel, 311 s longer for Mark.

It was a nice workout in the gusting wind from the ocean. Lights were on at the field, but very few people around. A solitary cyclist kept us company/disturbance.
