Easy running 46:48 [2] 8.88 km (5:16 / km) +68m 5:05 / km
ahr:151 max:162 shoes: (C)Ross Dress Brooks

Ran the loop in short sleeves! in Moscow! in December! thanks y'all for the gift of global warming! My lower legs felt sore and stale, and the air was dirty. It had stopped raining.

Wednesday Dec 3

Note
(rest day)

I worked all day on SE-M's stuff (and made some yummy spicy turkeyburgers during a break), then took a nap. And woke up at 3 am with full intention to finally run. But it was raining super heavily, so I went back to bed.

Tuesday Dec 2

Note
(rest day)

Got up at noon Moscow and spent the day catching up on e-mail and Team selection and 9WRC matters, and only got to SE-M's work late in the evening. Will try to work and run tomorrow.

Monday Dec 1

Note
(rest day)

Made it to Amsterdam and then to Sheremet'evo without problems. Luggage came with me on the same flight to SVO. Problems started once I tried to use my Russian bank card. Not working. I paid for the airport train with a credit card, but I was out of cash for the subway. Had to call Mom to come rescue me. There was some kind of block on the card, probably because I had used it in Russia and then in the U.S. and then again tried to use it in Russia, all within six days.

Once I got to the apartment, I found out that construction had resumed on the abomination next door. Some money had apparently been unfrozen. Hope it stays that way.

Note

The snow had all melted and all there is on the streets are some small dirty piles of it and mostly dirt and dust and ground innards of car engines and soot.
