8 AM

Running 1:23:29 [1] 14.45 km (5:47 / km) +137m 5:31 / km
slept:7.5 shoes: Saloman Sense Ride 3

Slept very well. Woke up before 0615 alarm. No aches or pains lying in bed, when getting dressed or walking around.

Had a coffee and then ran up to Richmond Park to meet Jillian. Made the route up as we went along. Trails werent too muddy and it was undulating. Ran really easy.

Barely noticed my left glute. It was there in the background on and off but only a dull ache at most. Running/chatting with someone was a nice distraction from it.

Looking forward to staying out for longer tomorrow... And if the weather is anything like today, I'll be in shorts and a t-shirt!

Jumped on the bike after work. Rode with moderate effort for at least half of the ride.

Left glute has not bothered me during the day and didnt during the ride either.

Left glute niggled on and off during the day - still same place, right in the middle of my butt cheek, didnt get any worst during the run...
Left glute niggled on and off during the day but not as much as it has over the past few days

Tuesday Feb 16 #

5 PM

Zwift hard 1:00:51 [4]

Jumped on the bike after work and did a hard session. Cant remember what it was though - picked a pre-set session on zwift.

Left glute did not niggle during the ride.

Monday Feb 15 #

6 AM

Running 1:00:01 [1] 11.12 km (5:24 / km) +8m 5:23 / km
slept:7.5 shoes: New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v10

Slept well. Woke up with 0530 alarm but tired and dozed off again and woke up 0615. No aches or pains lying in bed, whilst getting dressed or walking around.

Had a coffee and then headed out in the rain for 60' easy run. Stuck to pavements.

No niggle in left glute for majority of run - became slightly aware of it after 30'. 1/10 at most. As usual - came and went for no apparent reason.
Left ankle continues to be fine.
At 40' gone, arch of my left foot became really tight and painful to run on. Maybe 3-4/10. Didnt get any better, if anything it got worst. After the run, when walking about it continued to feel tight and would cramp up if I flexed my foot. Never had anything like this before. Not sure why it came on - was running in normal trainers, wasnt running differently to compensate for any other injury that I am aware of and ground was flat/even.

Left glute was okay for the rest of the day and left foot got better too.

5 PM

Zwift easy/moderate 45:10 [2]

Jumped on the bike after work. Picked a route with a steady climb - worked just above easy on it.

Left foot was fine.
For the first time, my left glute started to niggle during the ride - occasional twinge that came and went. Then continued after I got off the bike.

Sitting on the sofa at the moment and cant feel anything...

Sunday Feb 14 #

8 AM

Running 1:11:27 [1] 13.58 km (5:16 / km) +69m 5:08 / km
shoes: New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v10

Slept well. Didnt set an alarm and woke up naturally at 0700. No aches or pains lying in bed, getting dressed or walking about.

Had a coffee and then headed out for 70' easy run. Thought I would try running on the road to see if that made any difference to the left glute problem.

Legs felt good and left glute niggled a tiny bit after 30' but only 1/10 and once again came and went for no reason.

No problem for the rest of the day. Planned to get on the bike but never got around to it.....
