Mountain Lakes.
Felt like spending some time in the woods so chose the Red course. Nice woods and great weather were factors. Only walking for the first few controls and then gradually added some jogging. A few mistakes and some poor route choice, but I felt good the whole way. Now, if I could do four of these in a row, I'd be ready for HH.

Baird Park.
Warm and humid. Started raining lightly as soon as I got started. Raining quite hard by 5km and then stopped as I was finishing.
