Road Biking 1:30:00 [3]

a bit of a tootle around Andratx in the late afternoon sun. Wanted to turn the legs over and see how the bike feels. Mallorca is awesome. Can't wait to really get some miles on this bike over the next 2 weeks. There are definitely some wicked crazy European mountain roads to explore.

I think it was 4 hrs, plus the lunch break and a few shorter breaks for a total of 4.5 hours of sweet running. What a great day. Devil's Gap in the Ghost River Wilderness to Lake Minnewanka. Sunshine, dry trail, frozen lake, great company, good pace......perfect!

A cruisy pace with the TT crew. Out and back on Tom Snow Trail in West Bragg. I turned around early to avoid a 20 km epic that ended with headlamps and enjoyed a fantastic solitary plod back through forest which was absolutely beautiful in an ironically dreary and silent kind of way.

I got a little carried away today. It was just so nice out and so I kept running west finding all the trails I could. Nose Hill, Edgemont, and then Blood and Guts in Bowmont until I reached the far end of Bowness. What I really wanted to do was reach the trails west of the Stoney Trail Bridge but I though better of it because that would have turned my run into a 5+ hr epic outing. Eventually you have to run home.

I was supposed to run in the mountains but I was craving a sleep-in. Ended up getting 11hr of solid sleep last night. Sweet!

Trail Trash run. Allen Bill Pond to West Bragg Creek parking lot and back on other side of loop. The entire trail was solid ice so very glad for my kahtoolas. I felt crappy on the long climb out of West Bragg Creek and then just held on for the final 6 km. I clearly need a lot more running in my legs.
Most exciting part of the run was getting back to the cars and realizing that we hadn't used our headlamps. Oh yes.....spring is definitely just around the corner.

1 and 2/3 repeats up Sulpher Mountain. I ran out of time to get all the way to the top on the 2nd go. Super great day to be in the mountains.
Felt good. I was able to run continuously the entire 1st repeat, despite the soft deep snow cover.

Not much of an effort this morning. Spent the first 10 minutes in the hot tub contemplating whether I could be bothered doing any swimming, so 1200 m is not bad considering where I started!

Indoor Rock Climbing 1:00:00 [2]

Yes.....I nailed my first 5.10. It was a 5.10-, but a 5.10 all the same. And then did a massively overhanging 5.9 crack which was super sweet....favourite route so far. But then I was so pooped that I struggled on a 5.8.
