3000 m continuous swim in the horrendously over-heated Thornhill pool. I shared my lane with 6 other much slower swimmers so it was crowded, hot and slow. Still, I felt strong through the entire 3000 m and did a negative split on the final km....although I think that was because people started to leave and by the end I had the pool to myself.
I can't wait to swim back home in Australia!

A fun little race around Princes Island today. It's great to be back orienteering. I went out a little hard (actually, way too hard) because I had in my mind that it was a sprint, but was in fact, 4 km. I little too far for a sustained red-line effort. Hopefully I reap some training benefit from my efforts.
