Adventure Racing 24:00:00 [3]
Full Moon in June Adventure Race.
I raced with a new team. Felt strong the entire race and didn't suffer any sleep monsters which is unusual for me. I was generally happy with my navigation on this one but it was wasted on a bad team dynamic. One of the teammates had completely different goals and expectations which is NEVER a good mix. In the end, we DNF'd which I HATE to do, especially with no good reason. A fun, positive, resilient, and strong team is something I will NOT take for granted again.
Only negative outcome for me was a bashed tailbone on the bike leg which I think might be broken based on how it feels compared to last time I broke it.

Biking 3:50:00 [3]100 km (2:18 / km)
Magic biking day. I rode to Cochrane on Big Hill Springs Rd, watched a bit of the triathlon and saw the duathletes off, then rode home. Focussed on increasing my spin cadence the whole time and so did the whole ride in the small front ring. I'm LOVING my new bike and feel very comfortable on it now. A spectacular day for riding and I didn't even feel tired at the end.
