Orienteering 55:00 [3]
Middle DIstance. My best ever orienteering on a middle distance. Just wish I didn't have a melt down at the second to last control that ended in a mp.

Wednesday Jun 25

Swimming 50:00 [2]2.5 km (20:00 / km)
2500 m pull

As it turns out, swim kicking is about the most painful thing to do with a busted tail bone. I settled for a solid continuous pull session instead.

Biking 2:00:00 [3]
I ended up commuting on my bike this morning despite the broken tailbone. It was fine for the first 30 minutes there but then it got aggravated from a high spin cadence. And it was POURING with rain - probably the wettest ride this year. Coming home was the same - a bearable dull pain for the first half, and then killer pain for the second half. Oh well - more iboprufen so I can keep on track with my training.
Orienteering 1:30:00 [3]
Went out after work and ran around on the Barrier Lake map with Mark G. There were 23 controls and we just alternated the first 18 and then did the last five by ourselves. A good mental warm-up for WCOC this weekend and a good recovery run from the AR on the weekend. Once again, the tailbone pain was dull and bearable until the last few controls when I'd get shooting pain whenever I ran up a hill or jumped sideways over some deadfall. Dang it!
