Super sweet trail run around Canmore with Pither and friends - Orange loop at Nordic Centre and then Cory Lake trails. Mostly single track, soft under foot, gorgeous. Felt sluggish at the beginning but got into my groove eventually. Got to run in a complete icy deluge for some of it, but stayed warm.

Pitiful. Went to the gym to run intervals on the treadmill but forgot my running gear. Did some spinning instead on the stupid fat-seated gym bikes, then some core work.
I've GOT to work less.

a nice after-work, nearly-dark run with Pither down in Nose Creek. Legs felt a bit tired but was good to out running off the day's work in the cool air.

Running (Hallows Eve Half Marathon) 2:13:00 [4] 21.1 km (6:18 / km) +870m 5:14 / km

It was very close to my PW half-marathon but considering the fact that I am a total Albertan fish out of water when running trails on the north shore of Vancouver, I was fairly pleased. Nothing like doing a half-marathon with the equivalent of the Grousse Grind thrown in for good measure. LOTS of climb and some uber crazy downhill. I definitely lose all my places on the downhills.

Not a great result but one of my most fun runs in the mist in the Vancouver forest on Halloween.
