Running 1:15:00 [2]

Back on the new favourite trail for the 2nd Saturday in a row - Orange loop at Nordic Centre. Light dusting of snow on the ground. Perfect -2 degree running temperature. Good friends. What a way to start the day.

Crossfit/Gym/Weights/Core 35:00 [1]

Solid gym workout

Bike Commute 2:05:00 [3]

What kind of lucky girl am I that I can incorporate actual mountain biking into my commute? +15 degrees and sunny so I biked home the long way to search out some single track on Nose Hill. What a great way to end the day - high above the city and the peak hour traffic and watching the sunset over the mountains.

Running 22:00 [1] 4.0 km (5:30 / km)

I had to cover gym class today so I took all 50 kids on a run through the neighborhood. They were pretty ticked off because it hurt more than goofing off in the gym, and because teenagers don't like to run. Also included stair repeats above Westhills. The mountain views were amazing. Some of the kids conceded that it was a most excellent way to spend gym class on a +15 degree day in November.

Running 55:00 [3]

A short, relaxed jaunt along part of Douglas Fir, Edworthy, then north side of river with Pither.

Running 1:45:00 [3] 18.0 km (5:50 / km)

YES! I finally got up at 4:50 am in time to run to work. Super slow as always with a backpack over Nose Hill in the dark, but very enjoyable.

Crossfit/Gym/Weights/Core 35:00 [1]

Deep water running 15:00 [1]

In the pool with a big group of old yakkity ladies bobbing around and waiting for their DWW class to start. If I ever start talking about the dismal state of my health and only that....please shoot me.

Walking 40:00 [2]

Powerwalk after work in the dark and the screaming cold wind up to the Asian mega grocery store for some exotic goodies.

Running 1:09:00 [3]

Today was just one of those evenings......in a good way. There is something about the turning of the light to 'winter light', especially at dusk. Hill repeats on Nose Hill with the setting sun and the rising moon and the softest of soft pink skies as my companion. Magic.
