Orienteering (WRE Larytz Park) 22:54 [3]

Totally screwed up control 1 enough that Loiuse caught me after starting 3 min later. So I tucked in behind her and tried to hold on and orienteer at the same time. Very fun orienteering at that speed. Picked up 2nd place in a WRE and $75. Saweeeet.

Orienteering (Partner-o) 30:00 [3]

A nice cool down exercise

Orienteering (Uplands Race) 22:40 [3]

Stuffed 2 controls quite badly, again in the beginning. Having trouble finding flow early on. Fun terrain though and was still able to move quickly.

Orienteering (O-tervals) 25:00 [3]

With Bender and Patrick Salle. Fun fun map.

Orienteering (Farsta 1-man relay) 25:00 [3]

You know, a 1-man relay is no relay at all. I could have done with the help of 2 teammates today. I had to look very far down the results list to see my name on this one. Ultra technical, slippery and mossy rocks, on a tiny detailed map is not my specialty. Oh well, it was an interesting way to finish the day of sprinting

Orienteering (Sprint Camp) 50:00 [3]

Royal Roads University warmup
Golf Club race....stuffed it up. Really technical and rocky. Not my strength

Running 1:15:00 [3]

Warmup run around Crescent Heights then stairs x 11. Trying to exercise out the jetlag. It might have worked because it is 730pm and I actually feel like I could sleep.

Road Biking 1:00:00 [3]

Easy pedal up to Hillarys for coffee. Legs felt fatigued but were feeling ok by the end.

Adventure Racing (Upside Down Rogaine) 5:49:00 [3] 75.0 km (4:39 / km)

With tRicky and Steve. I was after a bit of hammer-fest for Italy training and so was happy when we planned a full sweep of the course. Felt surprisingly good for most of the night. Definitely started lagging when the sun come up and the boys had their minds on finishing and so started running up all the hills. That's when the training (for me) began.

We were well ahead of schedule in the first half of the night. I think we cleaned over the half the controls in 5:10 or something like that. Starting making a few smallish errors such as going to wrong lone tree in paddock. Made a couple of bigger errors after the moon went down. Would be interested to know how much time wasted in mistakes - maybe 40 minutes. tRicky....correct me here??

Got the clean sweep.....my first ever at a rogaine. Thanks guys for letting me tag along in the last minute. Racing in a 3 was fun.
