Miscellaneous 3:00:00 [3]

Otherwise known as backcountry tabogganing. A little bit of silliness up at Chester Lake. I slammed into a tree which wasn't so great but the rest if the trip was pure fun.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 11.0 km (5:27 / km)

A recovery run around Victoria. Was supposed to be a long run but I slept in and then decided that I was a bit puffed out from all that sprinting around this weekend.

Orienteering (Set up race - UVic) 15:50 [3]

Fast and smooth. Hesitation on 1st control then clean run. Finished 1st girl and 22nd overall which was good enough for chase final this year.

Orienteering (Chase final -UVic) 31:00 [3]

The only advantage of screwing up a race that badly is that I got a longer training run. Had fun exchanging places with Sergio and Chris until Chris pulled away. Sergio and I kept making massive mistakes. I ran off the map twice and went 180 degrees in the wrong direction three times. Definitely a good for a laugh.

Orienteering (Camosun College) 23:00 [3]

A great run that made up for previous race. Was chasing Sergio again for most of it. Nice way to end a wicked weekend of orienteering. Kudos to Andrea and Magnus and rest of hardworking GVOC crew for fabulous weekend. This is definitely a stayer on my annual calendar.
