A little jog around the neighbourhood to test out the legs, and get back into my lucky marathon racing flats that haven't been worn for many many years.

Things still feel a little rattly. Hopefully another few days of rest will cure me in time for the marathon.

Day 3, no training. Starting to feel normal again.

rest rest rest. Spent the day wishing I was climbing mountains and bounding over trails. Instead I sat in the RImrock hotel and wrote a big chunk of my 4000-word paper.

The mind and soul was screaming to be out on my feet having running adventures, but my body and thesis thanked me for sitting on my butt all day.
