A bit of a dogs breakfast, but I had fun. Made a 6 minute error, and a had a few slower route choices. Fun to see how much faster the elite girls can run in the terrain than me.

So great to see my sister finish the tricky W35 course, my mum and other sister make their way around the beginner course, and my 16 year old niece willing to try Orienteering with me shadowing and teaching.

Ran with Linda to teach her how to Orienteer. We made a couple of silly mistakes....like going to 122 twice, and making a parallel error with the ant hills. Probably could have gotten another 10-15 points and snuck into 3rd place. Still, happy with 4th out of 51.

Turned around at the shoulder, two thirds up on the 3rd rep because of heat illness (it was hot and exposed today and I started to feel very dizzy and wobbly).

Rested for a bit then did a single rep up Mt Trio.
I’m pretty happy with that considering it’s the first elevation my legs have seen in 5 months!!!

Let’s see what I’ve got left in the tank for tomorrow’s session.
