V warm track session, exhausting in the heat.

600mx4, 100mx4. Happy with the 600s and 100s good to get some speed in the legs. Bit of a shorter session as having a slightly easier week after the races. Felt a bit dehydrated today, due to heat and don't think I drank enough during the day but pretty good session I think

Northern champs - High Dam 2nd W16 + 6.30 on Izzy

Was going pretty well and clean and feeling good in the terrain until #8 where I went over on my r ankle in the marsh and following messed up and ended up at 12. Lost about 6 mins. From then on it was just pretty scrappy, I had other mistakes on #11 costing about 2-3 mins and a scrappy one on #15. I think looking back on it my motivation really dropped after my mistake on #8 and just was not feeling so confident and became easily distracted, something to work on, trying to put the mistake behind me.

All in all it wasn't the best run but a lot to learn and was moving well over the terrain well with a few v good legs. Good runs the past two days anyway so v happy with the weekend races overall :)

Hip from yesterday falling on the crag has just become quite bruised and painful, all fine just was feeling sore all down left side today while running. Thought ankle was fine after going over but feeling it a bit walking round at home so iced and will have a few days off, I'm sure all is good. Have exams this week anyway...
