Attempted long run. L leg calf outer area sore. Very vague area. Got a lot worse than it’s been though even after getting it checked on Friday. Sore walking afterwards and throbbing for about 30 mins.
Completely no running now until I know more about what going on. ReLly really don’t wanna risk anything at this point and go into panic mode :(((

Such a wierd race bc it was basically a time trial no one near me. Kinda felt pretty awful and tired. Busy day celebrating last day yesterday so provs not ideal prep etc, but feels just weren’t great and would hope to be a bit quicker than this given some sessions but not too bad i just think more sppedier sessions are needed. Very warm adwrll. Leg completely fine when running here.

got calf/shin checked out. Just a lot of tightness in left calf which hopefully is fixed ish now. was just causing pain around the calf but nothing really to worry about. actually felt a lot better thursday friday anyway so should be ok

I think a muscle tendon thing on inside of calf/shin area a bit sore. Not really when running, i sometimes get it on outside adwell if a lot of terrain running but normally goes away in a day or two. Very low level but will get it checked out as feels a bit unstable when walking occasionally

grass graves simon session

Pavilion field laps - 3x940m + 3x550m (4 mins recovery). Fast reps and long recoveries tonight was planned which was tiiring, and felt very quick and rough from the start with the hilly loop + quite muddy and rutted so made for and interesting session. Felt like it must have done something good though as was consistent but couldn't go much faster. Nice running with Dylan at the same pace which was good motivation.
kinda similar loop to last tuesday where you only really feel it on the last hill but it hurts a lot
