Orienteering race 44:43 [4] 2.65 km (16:54 / km) +47m 15:31 / km

Middle distance US-Orienteering Champs: felt so much better than the last 2 days, more confident and wanted to orienteer well now that I know that I can orienteer well in that area. It is very intricate, very much swedish-type in moraine-like woods. Today, there was even more deadfall than yesterday and it was hard to keep a rhythm up and the compass bearing at the same time. Did also follow much the contours (hills, depressions, shoulders, etc on a very small scale).
Was happy with the 44 min and practically no mistake.
All on at least 2300 m with gorgeous weather and the beautiful sawthooth mountains as backdrop.

Hey, just saw that I was fastest woman on brown ahead of F55, F60! A little proud ;-)
