Mountain Biking 2:26:30 [2] 42.09 km (3:29 / km) +290m 3:22 / km

In Tuscany for a week. Biking in the morning/lunch an easy loop mostly on pavement (it is hard to find dirt roads or trails here, a lot is private property). We rode the famous alley with the cypress tree of Bolgheri which is 4 km long.
In the late afternoon we went to the beach and took a dip in the Mediterranean, so warm and beautiful!

Had a "burning" stomach all morning and could not take food or anything to drink without it burning. The weakness came in waves and in-between I had more energy. By mid-afternoon, I felt good enough to wanting to take advantage of this beautiful day and go for a bike ride. It actually went better than expected.
Later, I met up with Sandra and we did a longer loop.

Wanted to "see" whether yday was just a bad day or my fitness is definitely in the sub-acceptable. It must have been a bad day bc today running went much easier, still not fast, but anyhow, I can live with that.Tried to work on running form a little in order to lift my legs more and not just shuffle along which worked quite well.
(Sandra told me in Zermatt, that I really did not have any calf muscles to speak off! Something to work at.)

Loop in the woods after Sandra dropped me of on her way home. Felt really sluggish and could not get beyond a dragging jog. I haven't run in over 2 weeks and it feels as if my legs need to relearn the motion all over again. No fun. Or was it just a bad day?

Yoga 1:10:00 [2]

My usual yoga class which I enjoy so much; vinyasa series was over 30 min and it exhausted me.
Lately, I have felt exhausted a lot and had to take naps in the afternoon, I simply cannot stay on my feet anymore. Strange.
