Running 1:59:37 [3] 10.03 km (11:56 / km) +452m 9:44 / km

A very beautiful, balmy day, so we decided to head up into the Jura mountains and Urs dropped me off in La Tourne while he drove over to the other side and started hiking from TĂȘte de Ran.
Running up to Mont Racine in about an hour, then followed the crest until I met Urs. We decided that he go on where I had come from but would stop in the mountain buvette at Grand Sagneule while I continued to run to TĂȘte de Ran and drove our car around and up to the where Urs was waiting.
For a long time I had wanted to do the whole run from La Tourne to Vue-des-Alpes, but this was as close as I could go today. It's only 2.5 km further, but the car was parked earlier, so whatever, another day.

Felt somewhat better than the previous 3 days with a touch of flu, cold or whatever is going around.

Mountain Biking 51:11 [2] 16.57 km (3:05 / km) +108m 2:59 / km

I had been looking for a used bike my size which is hard to find. I finally decided on a fairly new one, barely used and picked it up tonight and rode it home.
I want to use it for the upcoming tour along the Canal des 2 mers along the Garonne. This is the third bike I will be using (sold the last 2 ones) as each had something I felt I didn't want to put up with on future rides.
Rode home into the darkness so I chose the roads which still had quite a bit of traffic. Towards the end, I headed down the woods, but the rear brake pad needs to be replaced, so I controlled my speed.
Fun ride though.

Duathlon 1:40:22 [3] 14.36 km (6:59 / km) +341m 6:15 / km

Kicked myself out the door after having been so tired, head feels like cotton candy. Started out on the bike uphill, then ran "my" loop and came back on the bike checking out a new trails and connection that I have seen another junior from our area do. Was a very good new trail in a little gorge.
Sore muscles and stumbled quite a lot when running; biking was fine, but definitely not up to much or being very alert.
