Back up to the Vue-des-Alpes in the hazy sun above the thick fog. The first time taking my skating skis and boy, did it feel shaky on those tiny skis. I tried to remind myself again of the technique and the balance and did some of those exercises. Towards the end, the feeling had come back and I could skate reasonably well again. The conditions were more marginal this time with the snow warmed up and grainy and other spots icy and slippery.
We need snow urgently!! This is the only cross-country ski center far and wide around the area which has decent tracks on at least some well preserved snow.
We talked to a couple from Belfort, France, who seem to come over twice a week for skiing as there is nothing closer to their home.

Strength 'n Stretching 50:00 [1]

Went to the stretching class again and it felt so good on my sore muscles (from the CAF-class on Wednesday and the classic skiing on Thursday). It was really worth it to go.

Classic x-c skiing 58:30 [3] 7.55 km (7:45 / km) +101m 7:15 / km

Went up to the TĂȘte-de-Ran area above the fog to get some sun together with Urs. He tried cross-country skiing again, and after initial ginger steps, he did quite well on his own doing some loops and even enjoyed it.
I went further and did all the loops, they even did some new ones on a meadow bc there is so little snow and further down one of the practice loop popular for races and ski schools, was no longer usable.
I didn't go any further as my muscles were really tired and kind of dragging. So I went to the parking early for my sandwich in the sun.

Strength 'n Stretching 50:00 [3]

Went the first time again to the legs-butt-abs class in a month and it was good for me especially with all the high-powered (for me) steps and coordination and squats and lunges. I really like the class even though I am more careful with my back and don't have the flexibility in my knees sometimes to do the motion 100% correctly.
Wondering how sore I'm going to be tomorrow.

Mountain Biking 53:01 [3] 11.66 km (4:33 / km) +147m 4:17 / km

Went to the car wash with my muddy bike and added a little loop through the vineyards and along the lake to it. We still have beautiful days with sunshine, not as warm as a cold North-East wind is blowing but not as strong today as it used to be these last days.
