Mountain Biking 2:18:41 [3] 22.65 km (6:07 / km) +691m 5:19 / km

I liked yesterday's loop so much, I wanted to do it again! So I did the first loop which now passed rather quickly, then I met Urs for the second loop. However, the part that looked easy riding slightly downhill through some fields were on smaller trails full of rocks. Most of a 2-km-stretch we had to walk as it was too technical for us to try to ride. However, we did get better at it and just let it bump us around whicle we progressed slowly. Sometimes, I had to stop as concentration was so high and my arms were shaking from the effort of keeping the bike going. But eventually we managed to finish the loop and were quite proud of it. This second loop was way more technical and less enjoyable for us than the first one.

Mountain Biking 1:16:38 [3] 13.22 km (5:48 / km) +289m 5:14 / km

On a camping place (in a bungalow) on the Island of Krk. An absolutely beautiful place with very clear water and the most beautiful turquise water. We received a cycling and mtb map with possible routes. So we tried the one closest to us and did one beautiful loop. It felt like an exploratory ride as we didn't know how well it was marked and how long the uphill or downhills were. But it was quite manageable. The most impressive thing we rode into was the biggest, widest oak tree with the widest spread of branches. Some branches were as thick as a regular tree. It was magnificent. Very enjoyable loop.

Running 49:07 [2] 5.0 km (9:49 / km) +37m 9:28 / km

Quick run after packing and before last preparations and heading off to Feldkirch, Austria, to put our car up on the train and sleeping in the sleeping carriage to Villach. Then getting over the Wurzenpass into Slovenia to the lake of Bled for lunch. Weather is cold, rainy and grey.
A mudslide had blocked the tracks and we were stopped in the middle of the night before being diverted around some mountains and arrived 5 hours late.
But, in the night, I checked google map and exclaimed: where in the devil ARE we?? Was there a holdup or robbery or what. It was a strange feeling being on the wrong side of our route someplace in the Austrian Alps. I quickly calmed down telling myself, this is a train, it needs tracks, they are finding a way to get us through and so they (ÖVV) did. And it gave me around 3 hours more to sleep. However, we were hungry and thirsty as nobody had prepared for this and the train restaurant is in these times of Corona not open. Some trip to remember.

Running 1:27:56 [3] 7.59 km (11:35 / km) +410m 9:07 / km

Such a gorgeous day, so I went up to Chambrelien and did "my" chemin bleu trail down to the Areuse and along the beautiful river until the trail headed pretty straight back up again. Very pleased with how I felt today after days of low energy and motivation.

Mountain Biking 51:46 [3] 9.24 km (5:36 / km) +405m 4:36 / km

Rode up to Sandra's house to pick-up Matti and rode back down with him which went quite well, but is still somewhat an adventure. His "other" yellow bike from Eric fits him much better in size.
