Staying in Silvaplana (Engadin) with Sandra, Marc and family for a week. BUT, it has barely any snow which is very strange. Lots of slopes are brown and many trails which usually have cross-country ski tracks on it which have melted away or turned into ice.
Some ski tracks have been preserved thanks of snow making machines. I had wanted to try classic skiing but only on tracks that are groomed and tracked. AND, they also need to be flat for now.
Today was an icy-cold day with changing winds that increased the wind chill factor significantly. Chose a trail from the house which Sandra recommended. Urs came with me and I put on the spikes on my shoes. Bare spots changed with long sections of icy ground. We ended in St. Mortiz Bath and caught a bus back. In a bakery/patissery place we had some sweets and a cappuccino. Heaven.

A stroll down to the lake. Have had backache again since yday. Last week, I felt so good, this week less so and knees feel tight and quads are hurting after walking some distance and need to sit down.

Stretch for 20 minutes then the strength machines. Added a new one. Mostly did 1x15 reps. seemed enough for now.
