First time riding PLRA. Had a great time! Haven’t been on a bike since GOAR. Took a few to get warmed up. Climbs had my heart going pretty good. I had to stop a couple times to catch my breath but all in all I think it went pretty well.

Finished! It helps when you keep the map oriented North!!! Took my time. Worked on distance estimation = 65 pace avg.

I collected features along the way and thumbed along. I was able to read that map pretty well. I only used my compass to make sure I had the map oriented correctly. Especially when I came to a junction. Made it so much easier to know which way to go.

Today was a good training day.
