Pissing down today and a little breezy but not as bad as last weeks 1k session.
A pretty hectic day at work today, it drains you mentally at times so I was happy to get out for a run!

Easy 20 mins warm up and ran the same route as last week on the 1k reps but started at the bottom of the road which gives you 2k bang on to the top.

I ran the reps of effort today and totally forgot about the watch completely, ran off what I thought would have been HM effort.
It's a fair old drag up that route, I've ran it a few times in previous races as its part of a 10k race.
Looking back I wasn't that much slower than when I ran up there in the race whichi ran fairly well on that undulating course.

Felt pretty happy with today's session, ran all 4 reps fairly consistent and they were quicker than last weeks 1k efforts aswell.

Totally bollocks weather today with 60mph winds and rain, ran very easy after work as I'm back at work normal hours now so will have to run in the evenings during the week, atleaat the nights are getting lighter!

The right heel was a little tight again on wakening this morning and also on starting the run in the evening. Over stretched the heel slightly running off road on Sunday and that's what's caused it.

Weather was great today....and back to horrendous tomorrow!
Ran 70 mins easy and felt pretty good today, I could feel that I'd done another strength session lastnight but felt strong from the glutes.
Could still feel the glute a little buy then when I ran my 7 sets of strides at the end of the run I couldn't feel the glute at all....strange! It isn't causing problems but can't wait to get it sorted.
All good otherwise!
