Tied 1, Lost 5. We were one point from winning the first game. We were two points from winning the second game. We were two points from winning the third game, and we were one point from winning the fourth game. And we got beat easily during the last two. Basically, we were 6 points away from going 4-2. Oh well, the competition is stiff during this rotation.
I had a rough day. I was passing well (only two passing errors over 6 games), and I was hitting decently (4 error --all in a row, actually-- in 6 games). However, my setting was really, really bad. I just felt like I wasn't helping the team much.
Will got hurt a few weeks ago, so we have Ivan playing with us now. He's strong and athletic, and he's pretty good. Between Jesus, Ivan, Matt, and myself, we have 4 pretty good hitters. And as far as the girls go, Gina and Elan are some of the better hitting girls in the league. |
