Back from Vancouver, where I actually completed 6 of 10 events, using one of the following combinations of aids:

a) orthopedic boot + crutches
b) orthopedic boot only
c) hiking boots + crutches
d) hiking boots + ski poles

(oh, and don't tell the doctor I did this)

Vancouver Sprint-O Training Camp
Session #8 and #9: Prologue and Chase at Deep Cove

Used: hiking boots + hiking poles (very, very sore at the end)
Training: having fun!

Saturday Feb 16

Orienteering 49:24 [2]*** 2.5 km (19:46 / km)
Vancouver Sprint-O Training Camp
Session #6: Lower Lynn (I skipped sessions 3, 4, and 5)

Used: hiking boots and crutches
Training: dog bones! very exhausting on crutches!

Session #7: Cates Park

Used: orthopedic boot
Training: focus on super efficiency (speed + direction)

Very good race for me!
