Mtb race 1:58:00 [5] 32.0 km (3:41 / km) +900m 3:14 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

First race aboard the micro Yeti, and what a race!

Six fast laps of the course, in reverse, axle deep in mud and sliding all over the place! Got a little bit rowdy a few times on the descents but no crashes. The new Yeti really does corner amazingly, but I think my tires prolly weren't the best option for the conditions...

Anywho, still managed to win my first race! 1st place in Expert class (and didn't get lapped by any of the super freaks in Elite), so great way to christen the new stead!

Three practice laps around tomorrows race track to learn the course. Pretty fun track!

Note

Hooray! New Yeti built up and ready to go!

Now what to call it?

The Yeti?
Yeti the Second?
Yeti Two?
Yetwo?
Yeti Junior?
Mini Yeti?

Oh the possibilities!

Weight 10.05kg, 110g lighter that its predecessor and painfully close to the sub 10kg mark....

Mtb 2:05:00 [4] 31.5 km (3:58 / km) +1000m 3:25 / km

Prolly the hottest day ever...

Up to the Springs and down some tracks etc on the Felt. Freaking fast down S57, nearly crashed my brains out at a billion kilometers per hour but somehow managed to ride it out!

Karate 1:30:00 [2]

Teaching karate session, flogged 'em senseless....
