Week 4, 25 - 8 - 25

Overslept this morning and running late after walking the dogs at the back of 6 then got out at 7 but no coffee or food. Felt well rested and stunning morning before the next bout of rain that’s due.

Football pitches almost too close for convenience so ended up heading around Craigmiller Castle. Not sure that was the best on reflection as quite similar to a xc course. Will be good to build strength but not as easy going as the road or flat trails for an easy run. Good fun and did a couple of loops before heading across the road. Diagonals felt good and felt as though I was moving strongly. Pitches pretty chewed up and slippy so glad I wore a grippy shoe. Accelerated to a good pace (possibly too quick for terrain) and took the touch line recoveries pretty easy before the next rep. Went back to the Castle loops for the last 25mins.
