Week 4

Slept much better last night and an early night. Legs felt good but opted to start work early to finish early. Starving most of the day today and eating a lot.

Pissing down with rain for the run. Left at about half 4 and for the first 3km my legs felt terrible and heavy. Did an easy 20min out, 20min back and the last 5km felt much better. Path I had planned for the strideouts was pitch black so opted for the side of the road outside the house. Flat and well lit with enough space to run for 20s and jog for 90s-2min between. First two gradually building effort and then last 4 at a harder pace. Felt strong and gait felt powerful and controlled throughout. Will do 8 reps tomorrow.
