slept:11.0 (sick)

Slept well last night but not necessarily jumping out of bed this morning. I did improve slightly through lunch and was feeling a little better. Finished work early and went for a nap. 2.5hrs later I woke up and was feeling worse than I had all day. Body aching and freezing cold.

This is getting on my tits!

Slept okay last night but body temperature still all over the shop. Managed to stagger through a bit of work today but not a whole lot. Felt a little better after lunch - limbs weren’t aching but still hot/cold body temp. Thought I’d give a run a go and see.

A bit of a test to see how body would respond but didn’t go well. Legs felt fine but each step made headache worse. Breathing seemed okay but again, even moving so slowly, I was sweating buckets. Was going to try 30mins but cut short as I wasn’t responding well.

Woke up feeling awful. Soaring temperature and really heavy, aching limbs. Didn’t bother with work today and instead spent the day on/off napping. When waking up I did feel a little better but went backwards in the next few hours. I did manage to get to the shops for nuun and probiotics tabs and have drank a litre so far. Still feel really warm despite shivering.

Tempted to run but I’ll wait till tomorrow to see if I’m feeling better. Did have a chuckle at Jim Jefferies ‘Bare’ show.

A cramp free night’s sleep but too hot in the house and was uncomfortable so didn’t sleep very well again. Was also wide awake at 4.30 but then knackered by 7.30 so went back to bed before work. All over the shop. Body still feeling pretty wiped out but legs don’t seem too smashed.

Ran at lunch. Another sunny one but a cool breeze. Legs didn’t feel like they were turning all that well but no issues or pains. Think it’s just down to energy levels and recovering from being so wiped out on Saturday. Run was fine, nothing to write home about. Slight tightness in my left hamstring but not anything serious. Remnants of calf cramp maybe from yesterday.

Restless night sleep and tossing and turning. Battling with cramp and grumpy wife/dogs. Ended up on the sofa and got a bit of decent sleep before waking up with brutal cramp in my left calf at 6am. That was the end of that. Walked the dogs and a sunny day. Body felt pretty battered and a splitting headache. Managed to eat some breakfast and then trying to rehydrate.

Ran at about 4pm after the F1. Legs felt a little tired but not absolutely wrecked but body felt like running on empty. Got moving fine and settled into a nice easy pace. No issues in the legs. Felt the calf a little where cramp had been but other than that actually got on okay. Still pretty sunny and glad to get in the shade.
