Running (Wu/Cd) 18:06 [1] 2.71 km (6:41 / km) +18m 6:28 / km

Road Racing 17:38 [5] 5.02 km (3:31 / km) +17m 3:27 / km

Rother Valley relays, anchoring the ShUOC A team into 2nd place. 17:31 chip time.

Very frustrated with being 1 second over 1730, makes me want to go back out and actually race a 5k again. Felt a little clogged up in the warm up but that seemed to dissipate during the race. Definitely could remove around 10 seconds on a slightly faster course, the 180 bend particularly was hard work getting my speed back up from.

Managed to get an absolutely wonderful negative split (35, 35, 32, 29, 22). so might have a little more to give.

Still a minute PB from the same race last year, and given that at the start of uni I would've struggled to run under 20, the progression over the last year and a half has ben pretty good.

Running (Wu/Cd) 10:00 [1] 1.7 km (5:53 / km) +4m 5:49 / km

Monday May 13 #

Running 55:26 [1] 8.84 km (6:16 / km) +195m 5:39 / km

Easy social plod, legs feeling good for tomorrow, still a tad congested airways wise tho
