Orienteering (Forest/foot orienteering) 49:51 [4] **** 5.15 km (9:41 / km) +230m 7:55 / km

West Point Middle

Need to keep in contact with known features, especially in vague terrain.
Need to get better experience when considering travel time over certain types of terrain.
Need to stop and read terrain at the start of the race better; have a better foundation before actually starting to run.
Need to look at the map more frequently and compare with my compass.
Did well on beaming some shorter legs.

Orienteering (Sprint) 12:19 [4] * 2.22 km (5:33 / km) +62m 4:52 / km

West Point Sprint

Did well enough here, but again, the start of the race kill me a little bit. I need to slow down and read before starting. A good foundation builds the rest of the race. Past that, very solid, perhaps work on looking at map more frequently, and following along a lot quicker.

Easy trail run through the valley, had some tougher hills along the way that I would sometimes run multiple times while attempting to not stop.
