Thanks to Robbo52, I had a cleared path to the (still) neutral zones in northern Westquarter, so took the opportunity before the rugby to get out and claim them.
Middlefield, Laurieston and a v. snowy Westquarter glen, before returning through Callendar Park.
Two months tomorrow since I started Turfing, and have now passed 500km of Turf action.

Needed something different today, so headed over, via the Green Bridge, to Larbert. Several new zones for me in the north of the town.
Had pretty much cleaned up before Ochil17 (who regards Larbert as his personal fief) came out to sweep up behind me. Currently holding over 100 zomes, and pulling down 200+ points an hour.
May have to go out of district tomorrow to get something I haven't done before.

Thaw and freeze overnight meant that yesterday's nice hard-pack was now ridged and slippery ice, so much slower today.
Completed yesterday's intended session, out along the Union Canal to Redding, and back through Westquarter and Hallglen.
The other Falkirk Turfers must be in hibernation - have lost one zone in the last three days. Fast running out of accessible zones - may have to resort to revisits

Original plan for the day was to have been Hallglen & Westquarter, but Robbo52 got out first thing and took the Kelpies from me, so changed tack to reclaim it.
Middlefield, round the stadium loop, back to the Helix & Kelpies, then Abbotshaugh, Bainsford and Ladysmill.
More snow overnight, but the majority of the trails were hard-packed, so no issues getting along.

Six inches of snow overnight, but the monthly zone revision meant that there were a fair number of accessible (and still neutral) zones locally with premium points attached.
Out to Rosebank, round the rugby field then down via Bankside to the Kelpies, and back into town. Tough going in places, but reasonably pleased with the pace

First turf session of the February round.
Was at the Steeple for 11am sharp, got the "go" message, and the zone wouldn't register. Down to the hospital, still wouldn't register. Along the Union Canal to Falkirk Wheel, round Camelon and out to Rosebank before heading in.
Saddened to see people in Falkirk, who I thought had more integrity, car-turfing today to get the extra 50 points for a neutral take.
