From town to Rosebank, F&C past the wheel to Bonnybridge, then back via Rough Castle and the Wheel.
5pm postscript. Dragonsoup and his e-bike are currently crapping all over my round. Let's see how smart he looks with a stick through his spokes

Lost another 28 zones yesterday, mainly to FiFVO.
Middlefield, Helix & Kelpies and F&C up to Rosebank. Baled when it started raining.
Surprised at the pace - felt quite sluggish today, and heart not 100% in it, but this is quite a fast section.

Careful what you wish for!
Yesterday morning I was bemoaning the fact that I had a long walk-in to get onto any new zones.
Yesterday evening, I was down 64 zones, principally due to a reappearance by Dragonsoup, who scalped 44 zones in two hours.
Planned today to try and get some of them back. Weather poor (grey, dull, rainy and windy) but set out all the same. GPS not happy - jumping about.
Managed two zones into a stiff breeze, before the GPS went completely haywire and placed me somewhere in Central Asia, without a zone in 1000 miles. It's a long walk back from Tashkent, so decided running away was the better form of valour.

One of the disadvantages of owning most of the town is finding new zones to capture without a 5km walk-in.
Short and sharp, round Callendar Park, tickling Hallglen and the top of the Union Canal. Oopadoopra currently clearing Helix for me.

Battle of the Kelpies!
Put five Turfers on an area with five zones, and watch the fur fly.
Casual wander through Callendar Park and Middlefield to get down to the basin, only to find there were two Turfers incognito (no GPS activated). Carved out the zones, saw them go again, and was determined not to stack on a zone, so added Abbotshaugh and Carron Sealock in between takes of the main zones. Still holding at the end of the day, so age and treachery wins again.
