Pootle round Bonnyfield to check how the courses look "on the ground" for the forthcoming WEE event there. Couple of changes required, either where the feature is indistinct, or where I'd planned to place the control in the middle of a bramble patch. Log time includes map annotations

Orienteering 25:00 [1] 2.0 km (12:30 / km) +30m 11:38 / km

Walk round the Yellow course at Bonnyfield. Amazed and disappointed to discover that, 25 minutes after being there to check the control sites, on the return, the heather was on fire and the fire brigade was on site with the hoses. 100% nothing to do with me!

Callendar Park, and town. Ankle a bit grumbly today, so didn't push it.

Donner and Blitzen

Similar route to Sunday, with a couple of variants. Missed out the mausoleum zone in Callendar Park, as I already hold it, but added in the High station and the two zones on the battlefield. Some problems getting the gps to work in the leafy areas - summer's on the way.

Slides and bouncy castles

Dragonsoup's raid yesterday meant I was the best part of 80 pph down on day-start, so, as I'm currently leading my wee mini-league, points are precious.

Middlefield, to Helix & Kelpies, with a branch off to Carron Sealock. Up the Forth & Clyde to Lock 16 then home.

All damage repaired, at least until BroonD&Tina emerged; points sinking again!
