Wanted to do the circuit at 4min/km pace, think I missed out by 12sec/km. That bloody hill off Burn Street is a killer, about 10m too tall in my opinion.

First leg of the Bendigo ToDay. Neat little course through Salomon Gully and the Quarry Hill golf course. Was one of the first out onto the links and there was an old dude carrying his club bag on his shoulder out for an evening bash - he seemed a little bewildered about the people running out of the bush :)
Took a while to get into the swing of things and was slow through the first 6. Combine that with conservative route choice (wearing shorts and the bush was a little spikey on my soft tender flesh) meant I was about 2:30 behind the winner (just over 30sec/km slower). Far better than where I would have previously placed so not disappointed at all.

A few circuits around Rosiland Park with spouse, not that she was runnung my pace which was around 4min/km. Was a very mild morning and even broke a bit of a sweat!
