Reasonable night sleep and all good this morning. No aches and pains from the strength work.
Spent the morning doing more DIY and the afternoon on a zoom lesson. Met a friend at 5 to go running.
Weather was proper grim, wet and windy. Did one set of drills warm up and then moderate paced run on pretty flat trails. It was an out and back, and the way out was into a horrible headwind so didn’t really look at the pace but enjoyed trying a bit harder. Nice when we turned back with a tail wind to flow along the trail a bit. Towards the end the groin felt a little bit fatigued, nothing terrible, but decided not to do the strides and just stuck with the moderate pace.
It felt great to be actually running, despite the weather, was loving it.
