Cruisin' Centennial and Cascades alone and ran into Ian Hamilton and caught up a bit. Felt like I'm back in action again (kinda, like there are still the old aches and pains in the background but they are far away in the background).

So weird those "dorsi-flexion muscle twitches", never had that before. Thinking I might just make a consistent upper body and ankle stability workout for myself and just do it every weekday or something.

Early morning Nor'westers in the thunder storm/rain w Eric. Didn't feel great in the morning, just sore and old, but felt way better after some swamp donkey puddle splashing. Scoped out all the Maple shacks behind Loch ski hill and around Big Thunder-ish.

Having some muscle cramping and random twitching/firing during the day in the front of my left shin....the "dorsi-flexion" muscle. It might be from wearing flip flops all day, like I have to flex that muscle every stride to keep my flips flops on.

First wood tick of the year! That's pretty impressive.

Long plyo warm up until I hurt my right ankle bouncing around trying to do "pawing" drills, man I look like an idiot sometimes for sure trying these I just decided it's better to run. The run felt good energy-wise, the aches went away, got some chin-ups in at the George Burke rope.

Probably take a rest day on Friday and do an early morning hilly jaunt with Eric as Scott is out of town. Keep it slow.

This run I will count as my workout for this week. Test run on the Routes for Roots course to see what my baseline pace is so I can have a goal. Felt actually not terrible considering it was hot as heck and super humid.
