Way to technical - totally unexpected. Had no idea that side of the mountains/hills were that technical. Was a bit worried when I met a couple of runners coming up the other way asking if I wass going down.... warning me and telling me to be super careful..... It was a stuipd steep "trail" - more climbing than running at points. So the run ended up being extremley slow (average) but even if I got annoyed (mostly with myself for not checking the route properly beforehand) I somewhat enjoyed it as well. A couple of shorter more runable sections also gave me the oportunity of some faster running inbetween all the slow stuff. Decent vert at least even though slow avg pace and a little low on mileage. Gels every 30mins as usual, and salt every hour. Protein post run. Felt super good and surprisingly fresh. No pains or niggles.

Great night sleep - slightly cooler.

Run around Competa today - really enoyed it. Longer climb followed by a super nice single track trail. Very runable. Clouds down low so not the greatest views but didn't really matter today. still really enjoyed it. No fueling as it was only a 2h run and I had lunch before the run.
No pains or niggles and legs felt surprisingly fresh despite the longer run yesterday.

A protein shake after the run today as well.

Very warm so didn't sleep great. But was still looking forward to get out for my run in the morning.

I have done around 70% of the loop before, but the last 30% was new and more technincal than expected. Thereby a bit slower than ideal but still a great morning run. First 1,5h with a headlamp so got a bit of prep for that as well. OTE gel every 30mins and salt every hour. i bottle of water every hour. Cool from the start, really warm by the end. Happy and great being back on the trails around here as well.

No pains or niggles, body felt great.

Proten shake after run.

Not much sleep due to the early flight but still felt ok.

Drills, 60min easy, 5 x strides

Got a run in straight after I arrived at my dads - easy along the beach. Warm and enjoyable. No pains, no niggles and legs felt quite rested.

A little longer and more vert than initially planned but wass cacthing up with my old trainng group. Great run, very easy effort on a mix of different trails. Enjoyable.
No pains or niggles and legs felt quite good considering having done the longer moderate run yesterday.

Good nights sleep followed by morning strength session and then the moderate run in the afternoon.

Really enjoyed it. Faster than I thought it would be but i felt relaxed and pace very controlled throughout. Legs felt fresh, no pains or niggles. Took a Torq gel every 30mins and a protein shake after the session.

A little longer than planned as I did the run with a good friend of mine that I haven't seen in more than a year. Not been to the particular area so I gave him the details and let huim pick the route. A brilliant mix of single track trails, wider trails and gravel roads. All runable, some more technical but nothing crazy and all very specific. Ideally there should have been a longer climb in there but will save that for Spain next week. REally enjoyed it and felt really good. Seems the fatige from a few days ago is completely gone. Legs felt fresh and we kept it really easy.
No pains or niggles.
