Fab night sleep and woke up rested and eager to go.

Chose the North York Moors and the Cleveland wat today as I think it works well as specific terrain for Templier. Mostly very runable, shorter climbs, but also some bit with a little bit of thechnical terrain.

Weather was absolute shit. Not too bad from the start, but then the wind picked up and it started pissing it down. It was pretty grim on the more exposed parts of the moors - happy to get back but at the same time I actually quite enjoyed it as well... Legs (and body) felt great and it was a very decent session all in all. Sunday willl be similar - just longer. Out and back the same way to keep it simple (stayed the night in a B&B close by to avoid driving back and forth). No pains or niggles and (finally) feeling the excitement about the race in a few weeks. It's all starting to come together!

Legs more tired today. No pains or niggles just general tiredness/fatigue. Took it really easy, mostly on trails, and with the usual small hills. Whilst the strides yesterday felt light and fast, todays were slow and sluggish. But got the job done.

A little stiff from yesterdays hill session but not too bad. Enjoyable easy run on local trails - fairly flat. No pains or niggles.

Great session!

Slept well and felt really good ahead of the session. Ended up doing the fastest rep ever as the third and last rep - almost 15 seconds faster than I'v ever done it before. Super pleased and encouraging.

Drills, 25mins easy, 3xlong hill reps, 20mins easy.

No pains or niggles and legs felt fresh. Protein shake post training.

Another good night sleep - woke up before alarm.

Despite another good night sleep I felt a bit more flat and slow today. But just focused on running relaxed and easy. Strides definitely not like yesterday - felt sluggish. Still in Spain as my flight yesterday was cancelled and I was rebooked onto a return flight tomorrow (tuesday). At least no extra cost as I am staying with my dad but looking forward to coming back home tomorrow and spending the next weeks there - without the amount of travel that I've had the past feew weeks.

No pains or niggles.

Good night sleep even though it was warm.

Drills, 55mins easy, 5 x strides

Felt good from the start and ran relaxed. Good morning run. Strides felt really fast and light - best ones in a while. Very happy with that. No pains or niggles and not really any particular stiffnes either.
