Long/specific run 2:28:00 [1] 14.9 km (9:56 / km) +647m 8:10 / km
slept:8.0

Another good night sleep.

10' prehab.

Ran with Laura so slower than usual specific pace, but good training on technical trails and a good long climb. Hip was fine today. No other pains or niggles either.

Easy run 1:06:00 [1] 11.1 km (5:57 / km) +68m 5:46 / km
slept:8.0

Good night sleep.

10' prehab.

Hip and groin still a bit niggly so kept it easy and flat again. Apart from that, felt fine. No other pains or niggles and legs felt good. The fatigue I've been feeling on/off since being ill seems to finally be entirely gone.

Easy run 58:00 [1] 12.1 km (4:48 / km) +124m 4:34 / km
slept:8.0

Good night sleep.

10' prehab.

Easy along the beach as hip and groin was playing up again. It's been on and off since the trip to Scotland. One day it's fine, the next it's stiff an a bit painful. But always loosens after a few minutes running. I have this issue from time to time in training - usually during the transition period between road and mountains or the other way around. Usually it gets better after a few weeks, so hopefully it will be back to normal shortly. Just need to be a bit careful with faster running/sprinting - especially uphill. Hiking/easy running uphill is usally fine, but harder running uphill seems to agrevate the "pain".

Good night sleep!

10' prehab

Drills + 62' Moderate

Felt good and enjoyed the run. The hips are still a bit niggly from time to time but nothing that really bothers me. Think it's the transition from more flat to hilly stuff. No other pains or niggles and legs felt decent.

Easy run 1:21:00 [1] 15.3 km (5:18 / km) +114m 5:06 / km
slept:6.0 shoes: Saucony Endorphine Shift

Poor night sleep.

10' prehab

Drills + 59' easy + 6 x strides.

Felt a bit flat - think it might have been because of the lack of sleep. Just felt tired. But no pains or niggles, just a bit of a slog. Strides were ok but not fantastic.

Felt good today as well. Legs obviously a bit tired from yesterday but not too bad. No pains or niggles. Kept the strides very conservative but felt pretty good actually.

Long/specific run 3:14:00 [1] 32.1 km (6:03 / km) +1271m 5:03 / km
slept:8.0

Good night sleep - woke up feeling fresh.

Because of a problem with the car, I was forced to do my training locally instead of going down to the peaks today. So made the best out of it by picking the most specific trails locally - and running up and down the local hill 12 times.... Not ideal, but still decent I think. Used poles on all climbs and ran with my race vest including mandatory equipment for Mozart. Had 5 gels + a bottle of tailwind - approx 330kcal pr hour. Protein shake post run.

Felt really good today!! Legs were fine - just a tiny bit of usual stiffness/soreness in my left hip and adductors, but more or less normal. Apart from that no other pains, niggles or stiffnes. Kept it to an easy effort - being very conscious about it all being 100k effort. Probably even a bit slower/easier than that. Finally felt normal - both physically and mentally. I put that run down as the start of a good block leading up to Mozart :)
