Blencathera Fell race route recce - Long Run

Terrible lines but know I know what not to do on Wednesday.
Rolled my ankle quite badly coming down from the top of the fell, at the hawse above Scales Tarn.
Seams to be okay and could run on it fine, a little unsteady for the rest of the way. Last decent is very steep so need to watch it there

Left Hamstring also quite tight so will stretch out a little over the next two days.

Sale Fell Orienteering

Having to push quite hard for it still to be a tempo, I think legs feeling it from yesterday. On stupid mistake after not taking enough time to read the terrain in front of me. Dropped the map running down a hill so had to run back up for it and some mid race show tying.

Navigation was super easy, making it more of a fell race

Battleaxe 3 - Finale

Good first two controls, pretty shit route two but executed well. Then a big mistake two 3. Bad direction out of two, got thrown off in the circle with lots more rock than was on the map and relocated about 3 times but couldn't find the correct crag. lost 7:30 on that control. Very scrappy from then on. The map print quality was so shit on my map. A lot of the black was printed as if it had a red shadow and some of the lines just had faded pink parts on them. Just made it that bit harder to read, but most of the scrap was just caused by me not having fun at 3
